FAQ
Does this replace a channel manager?+
No. HomestayCalendar is read-only occupancy from iCal. Pricing, inventory push, and messaging stay in Booking, Airbnb, Agoda, VRBO, or your channel manager.
Are my iCal links safe?+
Links are stored in your account (or private sync code) and only requested through our Cloudflare proxy — never exposed to other users’ browsers.
How fresh is the data?+
Feeds refresh when you open the app, hit Refresh, or on a quiet 15-minute auto-refresh while the tab is open. Edge cache is about 10 minutes. That’s much fresher than syncing booking calendars into Google Calendar — Google often only re-fetches external iCal links every 12–24 hours, so new stays and cancellations can lag. HomestayCalendar checks often so you see occupancy updates the same day.
Why not just import iCal into Google Calendar?+
